Scheibenweltfest

Just back from germany and the best Discworld convention that there is!

Had a wonderful time amongst a lovely bunch of people, funniest thing was being woken in the night by a bloke trying to remove my phone charger (which has a red light) from the adapter (which has a green light). After playing tug of war with the phone he then tried to climb the wall with his hands! Turned out he thought he was at work and his machine has a green and red light which he turns off then fits a radiator to a big truck. Poor chap, can't get way from work for a weekend.

It was suggested that Germany should start another war so that all Discworld Cons could be held there. The reply was 3rd time lucky :D

The workshops I went to were dragon making from a base of chicken wire or balloons, my dragon escaped and headed for the hills overnight, disappeared anyway, and fan making with lots of glue and feathers.

The roadster did really well on the drive there and back so was treated to some bling and a new headliner. 1347 miles in total, including picking Pat up from the airport in Dusseldorf and having a bit of a tour round on the Thursday.
